KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital is the 17th hospital owned and managed by KPJ Healthcare Bhd which is the Healthcare Division of Johor Corporation (JCORP) and one of the leader in Malaysia’s challenging health care industry with 25 private specialist hospitals in the group. KPJ KAJANG has been in operation since 2006 and it is strategically located in Kajang that is set to create a benchmark in providing excellent and quality healthcare services. As for this project, we proposed to go for few shades of colors in pastel tone. Having a dual personality that able to retain the vibrancy and brightness of color is one of the points that we proposed using it. Pastels are also well-known for their ability to soothe and calm the viewer. Their soothing nature has also led us to proposed to replace the existing wooden panels throughout the whole space.
